Juan Carlos was born in Ibiza on 1976. He started as a graphic artist, with a huge passion by comics and illustration that created on demand in his own studio. A few years later, he journeyed into other fine arts territories until he found his real vocation in the wonderful world of the art of sculpture. His artworks are Art Pop themed sculptures of different characters of the world of the cinema, comic, Art Toy and own designs … etc.
Works are made in different materials like water clays, polymer clay, but above all what predominates most is Epoxi A + B putty to highlight in detail the meticulous work of my works.
He has been working as a freelance author for several years. He has worked for some national studies, private assignments and works for The Monster company and Rubber Gorilla (United Kingdom), creating master sculptures for many great names of the international animation and comic industry.
He’s one of the most recognized sculptors for animation and comic artworks around the world.
