This original drawing of Batman has been created by American artist Lance Tooks.
Lance Tooks is an American comic and illustration artist from New York. He worked as an assistant editor at marvel where he created artworks for television commercials, movies and music videos. He published comic books by himself such as “Danger Funnies”, “Divided by Infinity” and “Muthafucka”. He also illustrated the comic book “The Black Panthers for Beginners” which was written by author Herb Boyd. He has helped to create Hurricane Katrina benefit comic, he also worked on the “Graphic Classics” line of books, adapting the works of Edgar Allan Poe, Mark Twain, Robert Louis Stevenson and Ambrose Bierce. In 2002 his graphic novel “Narcissa” was published by Random House/Doubleday. His four-volume series “Lucifer’s Garden of Verses” was published by NBM. Tooks has also worked for the anthologies “The Beats”, “Studs Terkel’s Working” and “The Graphic Canon” (7 Stories).
