Alfonso Williamson was born in New York, but he lived his adolescence in Columbia. In 1940, he came back to New York and started his studies in Artist’s & Illustrators School, where he had Burne Hogarth as his teacher, who will help him with the Tarzan’s drawings. Then he met his friends Frank Frazetta and Roy G. Krenkel.
Extremely hard to found, this original comes from the private collection of the artist, before being exchange by others awtworks from Spanish authors.
This original was acquired by Corner4art Gallery in 2001 in a set of American artist’s products. This original artwork includes the Certificate of Authenticity of Corner4art.
