Mike Ratera is a Spanish comic artist born in 1960. He studied Fine Arts at the Escola Massana in Barcelona and started his professional career as a cartoonist. He was part of a new generation of authors boosted by the comic boom of the early 80s and was a co-editor of the fanzine Zero. Ratera has developed work in the didactic and creative fields, teaching comic techniques, and was in charge of the subject “Comic” at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Barcelona. He is known for his horror and fantasy comics such as Witchfinder, Conan, and Kabur, and has sold many of his works to the French market. He has also worked as an illustrator and has published multiple comic series and albums over the years.
