DePatie-Freleng Enterprises, also known as Mirisch-Geoffrey-DePatie-Freleng Productions and DFE Films, was a prominent American animation production company operating from 1963 to 1981. Based in Burbank, California, it was known for creating iconic animations such as The Pink Panther series, Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies entries, Dr. Seuss TV specials, the original Star Wars lightsaber effects, and public service announcements like the Bod Squad and Time for Timer for ABC during the mid-1970s.
