Garotto – Loving Versace – Homage To Haring – Original Art – (2022)

Loving ©Versace – Homage to Haring, is one of the original artworks created by multicultural artist Garotto for The Medusa Collection. He creates his own premium version of the iconic artwork, evoking the strength that can be found in the union of love, to pay tribute to one of the most important artists of popular culture Keith Haring.

This exclusive artwork inspired by Haring, with a great variety of textures and a wide range of colors, depicts on a white background, two figures holding a large heart in the center of the composition that shines towards the rest of the artwork. After a long process of creation, the whole artwork has been meticulously designed, carved, and polished by the artist and then covered through a sewing process, with original ©Versace Home materials. Through the relationship between a fashion brand and a pictorial artwork, the artist creates this unconventional artwork.

Its huge proportions and final composition were conceived according to multifaceted Garotto’s own vision of Haring’s art of the 80’s.

The artwork was created in Garotto’s studio in Sitges (Barcelona), Spain and it’s in mint condition to be shipped worldwide.

Multicultural artist Garotto always took it upon himself to gain experience doing multifaceted projects such as work for samba schools creating carnival parade floats in Brazil, bespoke handmade furniture in Argentina, or luxury clothing, which is what finally made him settle in Spain. He has also collaborated with other artists or brands, like when he designed clothing and apparel for Warner Bros., explored working with street artists, or partnered up with top Disney animator Tony Fernandez, to bring some of his sketches to life.

Currently, he’s joining forces with Corner4art for the exclusive worldwide distribution of his award-winning artwork and to develop innovative art projects under the brand name Garotto Art. Being huge fans of fashion, they’ve started producing pieces inspired by and paying homage to influential fashion designers of our time, starting off with a tribute collection to ©Versace, created using officially licensed material from their home décor collections.
