Fernando Alday

Fernando Alday is a Chilean artist known for his exceptional talent in collage. Born with a fascination for calligraphy, he developed a unique sensitivity to manuscripts at a young age. Fernando has lived and worked in Barcelona since 1990 and has built a reputation as a genius of collage, using pages from old notebooks, account books, and book spines found in antique shops as the basis of his creations. His works are elegant, original, and full of poetry, earning recognition both in the United States and Europe as one of the world’s most impressive collage artists.
