This artwork has been meticulously reproduced from the original provided by Frazetta’s descendants, using high-quality archival inks on fine art paper.

The image area of the replica closely matches the original, measuring 9.5 x 11.5 cm.

With only 75 copies available, this limited edition brings the exquisite detail of Frazetta’s work to collectors worldwide.

This piece features a plate signature engraved in gold, adding an authentic touch to this remarkable piece.

In 1968, this image was included in the ‘Frank Frazetta At the Earth’s Core’ and ‘Pellucidar’ Portfolios, published by Camille Cazedessus Jr. These portfolios featured eight plates each of Frazetta’s fantastic artwork used for the covers of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ novels.

Frazetta’s association with one of the most significant science-fiction and fantasy authors of all time, Edgar Rice Burroughs, further adds to the importance of this artwork.

This drawing comes alive with a body that seems to pulsate, tremble, and leap off the page, defying realistic anatomy while capturing an unparalleled sense of energy and movement.  Even in their simplest form, this Frazetta’s drawing emanate the power and untamed ferocity found within his paintings.

Frank Frazetta's Iconic Quote on Art and Life

“They told me twenty-five years ago, you don’t put bras on your girls! Now, today’s women are Frazetta girls, long witchy hair, tits! The breasts I paint move, they sway. It’s all instinct. I didn’t know what I was doing. Crazy…”

Frazetta worked for various comic book companies, including Standard Comics and Magazine Enterprises. In the early 1950s, Frazetta transitioned to doing science fiction and fantasy art, particularly in collaboration with Al Williamson, producing exceptional work for EC Comics. Frazetta’s talent and versatility were further highlighted when he contributed to Al Capp’s “Li’l Abner” strip and worked on movie posters, notably “What’s New Pussycat?” His fame reached new heights with his iconic Conan the Barbarian series of paintings, leading to widespread recognition in the fantasy art genre creating his own characters such as Deth Dealer, who gained him recognition as one of the greatests illustration massters of all times.
