Saint George Legends

This original large drawing of Saint George and the Dragon has been created by Spanish artist Esteban Maroto Torres.
Great master Esteban Maroto is well known for having redesigned Red Sonja’s “Iron Bikini” in the early 1970s for The Savage Sword of Conan, inked and colored by Neal Adams. The famous “Coin Bikini” has become the final image of the character.

In the 70’s Maroto worked for Warren drawing for Eerie, Creepy, Conan, Aquamna and Vampirella. He’s well appreciated for his works for George Lucas and Star Wars illustrations. A huge number of Marvel and DC Comics covers are also signed by Maroto. Maroto is one of the old school great masters still alive.
