The great Spanish master Sanjulian started drawing in 1970 with Frazetta for the American magazine, Warren Publishing. Their Vampirella and Conan covers gained recognition at an international level. Since the artist lives in Sitges, he has done diverse posters for the international fantasy and horror film festival celebrated every year. George Lucas himself owns many Sanjulian original oil and pencil artworks. Other celebrities such as Silvester Stallone, Danny de Vitto, Mel Gibson and many others also own Sanjulian’s creations. He has received various awards throughout his career and exhibited his work often in The Society of Illustrators in New York.
