This original artwork is the only recreation ever drawn by master Manuel Sanjulian of the original pencil that he created to George Lucas.
Around 1980 Sanjulian received the commission from George Lucas to create a new painting for his upcoming movie “STAR WARS:The Empire Strikes Back” with just some pictures of “Gonna with the Wind” and characters studio preliminary set of photos.
Sanjulian composed this poster to George Lucas who used it as reference for final poster, finally painted by artist Roger Kastel.
After being requested for a huge number of times, in 2017 master Sanjulian decided to create an exact millimeter RECREATION from his original pencil with the intention to become exhibited in different events worldwide.
This piece comes with a CoA hand signed by himself that states that this is the ONLY EXISTING RECREATION and that in the future won’t exist another one.
THIS IS A KEY ARTWORK IN THE HISTORY OF STAR WARS.
The artwork created in 1980 is currently owned by Sanjulian family members, specially documented not to be available for acquisition.
This original creation comes directly from the Sanjulian’s personal collection.
This unique work is hand signed by the artist himself, and includes its Certificate of Authenticity.
