Juan Antonio Giménez López was an Argentine comic book artist and writer, most recognized for his detailed machine-like imagery. He is recognized worldwide for works such as Estrella negra (1979), Question of Time(1982), Trash (1988), The Fourth Power (1989), Ciudad (1991) y Mertabarons (1992).
Its theme revolves around portentous imaginaries belonging to the fantasy genre and science fiction. He received awards such as the Yellow Kid for the best foreign cartoonist (1990) and the Bulle D’Or in France (1994).
Since Juan Gimenez passed away this 2020, his studio and personal library was mantained as he left it.
After many considerations, his family’s wish is to share all his heritage with friends and collectors around the world.
All his personal books come with the JG Seal, meaning they belong to the “JUAN GIMENEZ LEGACY”.
