This captivating original issue of The Metabarons #4 presents a dynamic cover illustration by Juan Giménez, portraying the sorceress Honorata riding a biomechanical dragon-like creature through a frozen, alien landscape. Giménez’s mastery of texture, depth, and narrative composition brings a mythic quality to the scene, where technology and mysticism coexist.
Set within the grand sci-fi epic conceived by Alejandro Jodorowsky and Moebius, this chapter deepens the lore of the Metabaron lineage through Honorata’s enigmatic presence. The powerful imagery—icy storms, armored figures, and monstrous mecha-beasts—reinforces Giménez’s reputation as one of the most distinctive voices in European comic art. A collector’s gem, especially in this encapsulated 7.8 EGC-graded edition.
