This original artwork by Z. Vendetta celebrates the expressive vitality of Disney’s classic characters through a spontaneous action study featuring Mickey Mouse and Pluto. The composition focuses on Pluto’s exaggerated movement as he slides dramatically across the foreground while Mickey observes the action with his characteristic cheerful expression. The playful interaction immediately conveys the humor and physical comedy that have defined these beloved characters for generations.

Created with graphite and red and blue construction pencils, the drawing preserves every stage of the creative process. Loose gesture lines, perspective guides, and overlapping construction sketches remain intentionally visible, offering collectors an authentic glimpse into the development of an animated composition. Rather than presenting a polished illustration, the artwork embraces the freshness and immediacy of the first ideas, where timing, balance, and character expression take priority.

Signed by the artist, this unique original artwork is an excellent addition for collectors of Disney art and original animation-inspired drawings, showcasing both the craftsmanship of traditional sketching and the enduring appeal of Mickey Mouse and Pluto.
