Inspired by Disney’s legendary Fantasia, this original artwork by Z. Vendetta captures Sorcerer Mickey during one of the most recognizable moments from The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Carrying two water buckets with an expression of determination, the character immediately recalls the magical sequence that has become one of the defining images in animation history.

Drawn in graphite and red construction pencil, the sketch preserves the vitality of the creative process through visible construction lines, proportional studies, and refined contours. Rather than concealing preliminary marks, the composition celebrates them, revealing the careful craftsmanship involved in developing the character’s pose, expression, and balance. Small exploratory figure studies along the lower edge further reinforce the impression of an authentic working sheet, offering collectors an intimate glimpse into the evolution of the artwork.

Signed by the artist, this unique original piece combines the enduring appeal of Mickey Mouse with the visual legacy of Fantasia. An exclusive artwork that beautifully reflects the expressive charm, technical skill, and timeless magic of traditional Disney-inspired illustration.
