This impressive original artwork by Manuel Sanjulian celebrates the Star Wars original trilogy through a richly layered composition filled with some of its most recognizable characters. Darth Vader towers over the scene, his extended hand and illuminated lightsaber providing a dramatic counterpoint to the portraits of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo and Lando Calrissian. Yoda, R2-D2 and C-3PO appear alongside an imaginative selection of creatures and secondary figures, creating a dense visual journey through the saga.

The painting combines carefully modeled portraiture with atmospheric passages of blue, green, orange and earthy tones. Rather than separating each character into rigid panels, the artist allows figures, light and color to overlap, giving the composition the sweeping quality of classic cinematic poster art.

Sanjulian’s connection with the Star Wars universe forms a notable part of his career, including his collaboration on projects related to The Empire Strikes Back. Signed by the artist, this unique piece is ideal for collectors of Star Wars and original entertainment art.
