This original preliminary drawing by Ignasi Estevan captures one of the Beagle Boys secretly observing a quiet suburban street through a pair of binoculars. The inventive composition combines a close-up of the character with the circular binocular view, immediately placing the viewer in the middle of the surveillance while hinting at the humorous capers that typically surround Disney’s most notorious band of crooks.

Executed in vibrant red pencil, the artwork preserves the spontaneity of the creative process while revealing the careful planning behind the final illustration. The confident construction lines, expressive facial features, and detailed environmental elements demonstrate the artist’s mastery of visual storytelling, balancing humor with cinematic composition. The contrast between the oversized foreground character and the carefully rendered background adds depth and reinforces the sense of anticipation.

Signed by the artist, this unique original preliminary drawing is an excellent collectible for Disney enthusiasts, offering an authentic look into the creative process behind classic comic production.
