This original Preliminary Page 3A by Sergio Garrido places storytelling firmly at the forefront, orchestrating a sequence of encounters that balances humor, tension, and expressive character acting. The Big Bad Wolf takes center stage as the narrative unfolds through a series of carefully staged conversations and reactions involving Li’l Bad Wolf, the Three Little Pigs, and supporting characters, each panel advancing the story with effortless clarity.

Drawn entirely in pencil, the artwork highlights the artist’s exceptional command of sequential composition. Wide establishing scenes alternate with intimate close-ups, creating visual variety while emphasizing the emotional rhythm of the page. Garrido’s confident linework gives every character a distinctive personality, using posture, facial expressions, and eye direction to communicate the action long before dialogue is read. The visible pencil work preserves the immediacy of the creative process, allowing collectors to appreciate the page exactly as it evolved before the final ink stage.
